Terms of Use

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BizCalc ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Use of Calculators
BizCalc provides free, browser-based financial calculators for informational and educational purposes only. All calculations run entirely in your browser — no data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
You may use these calculators freely for personal and commercial planning purposes, subject to the following:
- Results are estimates only. They are based on the inputs you provide and standard financial formulas. Actual outcomes will differ based on factors the calculators cannot account for, including taxes, jurisdiction-specific regulations, market conditions, lender requirements, and individual business circumstances.
- Calculator results are not financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice. BizCalc is not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, attorney, or any other regulated professional.
- You are solely responsible for verifying any figures independently and for any decisions made based on calculator outputs. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant business, financial, or legal decisions.
- You must not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site or interfere with any other user's access.
No Warranties
BizCalc is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Calculator results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
- Any defects will be corrected
- The Site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components
We make reasonable efforts to keep formulas accurate and up to date, but financial regulations, tax rates, and market benchmarks change. Always verify critical figures with a qualified professional.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BizCalc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its calculators, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to access the Site, which is zero, as BizCalc is free to use.
Affiliate Disclosure
BizCalc includes links to third-party products and services, including QuickBooks, Gusto, Kabbage, OnDeck, and Shopify. Some of these are affiliate links — if you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our calculator results or the advice we provide. We only link to services we believe are genuinely useful to business owners.
All affiliate links are marked with rel="nofollow sponsored" and labelled "Sponsored" in the interface.
Intellectual Property
All content on BizCalc — including text, calculator logic, design, graphics, and code — is owned by or licensed to BizCalc and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted below.
You may embed individual calculators on your own website or blog using the embed code provided by the Site, provided you retain the "Powered by BizCalc" attribution link included in the embed code.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. BizCalc has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
